Antique Jewelry Box
Q.I am trying (as part of my new year's resolution to clean! sort! organize! and then *wear* my vintage garb) to figure out a way to store my jewelry. Any good crafty jewelry box ideas?
A.I had once 'inherited' an ugly jewelry box- it was that 'used to be pink' color- but had been owned by someone that smoked and was a yellowish pink- but it had doors that opened out and a bunch of little drawers inside- and it was free!! So I took it and spray painted it black then designed something for the front of it- cut the design out of contact paper and stuck it and spray painted it again.... Came out great!!! Unfortunately I lost it and everything else in an apt fire a few years ago and have been looking for another ugly box to give a facelift!
