Bridal Jewelry Necklace.
Q.Has anyone ever heard of a bridal shop called Timeless Elegance (on 37th between 7th and 8th Avenue) in Manhattan?
A.I haven't heard of Timeless Elegance, but they sound great to me--I had the same horrible dress shopping experience, with everything ridiculous prices--I want something really simple, and was told it cost EXTRA to have no beads or sequins! Anyway, I ended up going with a costume designer/seamstress that is a friend of a friend, although she's had the material since Sept. and still hasn't started!!!!! So if I start to panic too much I may go to Timeless Elegance as well--but anyway I'm designing exactly the dress I want (just showed her different pix saying" this style, this front, this back...." and the bridesmaids are doing that as well! And I went and bought exactly the material I wanted, and so am designing the whole thing. I'm pretty proud & excited about it! I just ordered my veil from a place on 40th St--HC Bridal 241 W 40th--I brought my wedding jewelry with me, and Kim sat there & helped me design exactly the headpiece I wanted--and she had rhinestone beads that matched my necklace exactly! I probably could have talked her down, but I was so happy and the price seemed comparable to bridal shops for something custom made, so I didn't bother. Anyway I paid $225 for a 4 tiered ribbon trimmed veil with an extra long cathedral train. I don't want to know if that's outrageous. But she was really nice & you may want to check it out.
