Q.Am doing some carving and want to carve a celtic cross, but haven't been able to find many?
A.Are you looking to see the actual cross up close or to see photographs? If you want to stay stateside and see a few really nice crosses, there's a cemetary in Richmond--Hollywood Cemetary--that has a few nice really large stone Celtic crosses. But any big cemetary in an area with the littlest bit of an Irish community should have several. The "authentic" type involves plane tickets to see up close, but if you're ever in Edinborough, check out Prince's Street Cemetary--nice grave markers of every description, including celtic crosses. Try some of the Cetic import stores and look at their jewelry sections, many have Celtic crosses.
