celtic wedding bands in goldQ.We are interested in gold wedding bands with a celtic-knot style engraved in them. Does anyone know where we could find such a thing? we have bands in silver that we love, but since they only cost about $20, and we already wear them daily, it seems inappropriate to use them as wedding bands. Obviously, we could have replicates of the silver bands hand-carved in gold, but that would be so expensive! We would be happy to find something similar, instead. A.We ordered our celtic-knot patterned wedding (and engagement) bands through our local jeweler from a company called Studio 311 (located somewhere in California, but now I'm blanking on just where...). They have a huge selection of different knot patterns, can do them in white, yellow, or rose gold, and have some very pretty 2-colored gold rings. You might call some jewelers in your area to see if they deal with Studio 311 or other companies that do the celtic knot thing. (I don't work for anyone in the jewelry biz, I just really like our rings!) I know I'm late responding to this thread, but I got my fiance a 14K gold band with a Celtic knot design as his engagement ring. Found it in a catalog called "Seasons" for a little more than $200. The design is not engraved but rather done in strands (so that there are open spaces within the design of the ring instead of a raised or engraved surface). It's a very attractive ring (Charles's problem is that people keep asking him if he's already gotten married, since it does look like a wedding band!) I can supply the catalog phone number, if you haven't got enough info already. I snagged my wedding ring finger on a fence yesterday... ?I was on my way home (walking) and cut across a parking lot, until I stumbled upon a chain link fence.
