Q.I'm looking for a bday gift under $150 (jewelry in sterling). Are the tag bracelets considered passe these days? What about the Elsa Peretti open heart earrings or pendant? I like the small open heart pendant, but it only comes with a 16 inch chain -- does anyone know if there is a way to "upsize" the chain to 18 inches for an additional cost. I wouldn't want to buy the medium heart -- too large. Any other jewelry recommendations in that price range for someone in their mid 20s?
