Dose Earring Jewelry Box find ?Q.Except I didn't purchase on ebay because the offerings there were all scratch-and-dent. I was dubious about the quality and worried it would be cheaply made, but I have been so wanting something to keep my jewelry better organized. My current jewelry box has long been a mess - too small and everything crammed in there. Couldn't find earring matches without digging, and necklaces getting all tangled. So I've been on the hunt for the "perfect" system for a long time. I've contemplated just about every conceivable jewerly organizer out there, I think, as I've surfed far and wide. I'd seen this when it came up on QVC months ago, but missed out because I didn't act fast enough. When I noticed it back on the site again, I went for it. It arrived the other day. The quality is okay - not the greatest, not as nice as my existing jewelry box. It's obviously some sort of cheap wood, the stain is more red than cherry, and it is kind of fragile and needs care opening it and moving it. But I can live with that because WOW - the way it's designed to keep everything organized and easy to find is simply...........totally awesome and ingenious! It fits everything with lots of room to spare and grow. I am mostly an earring person to begin with - plenty of room for earrings. I spent an hour organizing them by gold vs silver, and by stud versus hoop versus dangly vs dress-up vs work vs casual. I don't have that many rings, so I used half the ring area to store my brooch collection. I thought I didn't have that many necklaces but now that I have this organizer, I realized I do indeed have quite a few... just never could find any in my existing box, so they got forgotten. It's currently sitting in the hall outside of the bedroom...once I figure out where to put it, I'm planning to put ALL of my jewelry in there - instead of having it all over in smaller boxes, bags and drawers!
