A.Nope. Gold is gold and its up to the artist.I will buy something when i like it. I don't have any designer jewelry apart from watches. I never understood the whole "we make clothes , now we have to make jewelry" trend anyway. A good friend of mine said that D&G have some nice pieces and Chanel too!I trust and respect her opinion but it wil be something that i will have to see. I have a large assortment of earrings, ranging from el-cheapos to ornate antique diamond dangles. But I find myself wearing the same few pairs over and over though. My most versatile ones are hinged hoops that are white brushed gold with diamonds down the center; the edges are yellow polished gold; they reverse to polished yellow gold. But I confess I would like a pair of highly polished, very modern platinum and diamond drop earrings to go with the "architectural" ring we designed as a setting for my late aunt's emerald cut diamond.
