Jewelry ManQ.This year, Santa's generosity to TFBIM has left us scrambling for places to stash all the stuff. So, I was thinking it'd be a good gift for, say, St. Valentine's Day, to give my wife some sort of jewelry case/chest, etc., mostly to keep The Very Nice Stuff (with the exception of her perals, everything else would be platinum/white gold) while the other stuff can be kept in the present abode for the whole of her current inventory. It needn't be huge since, off the top of my head, I'd say she needs to store: 5 Necklaces 3 Rings 5 Bracelets 4 Earrings (stud) 3 Earrings (hoop) I'd like to find something that keeps all the individual bits and pieces in splendid isolation so they are not banging and clanging into each other, is easy to rummage through, and has room for the inevitable additions to her inventory of Very Nice Stuff. Decor is a matter of some flexibility. Any Thoughts? A.I'd like to say that I, too, am looking for a 'jewelry box' for my DH. I've been looking since before the holidays but have been unable to locate an acceptable item. Part of my problem is in not knowing exactly what to call it when I do a search. I'm looking for a box that may contain not only jewelry, of which he wears little, but also those stray pocket items, papers, mints, breath strips, change, etc. that end up on the dresser at the end of the night and sometimes stay for awhile. Is this a valet of some sort? Is this a 'man box' sort of like a 'man bra'? HA! I am looking for something rather nice. Price is negotiable.
