Lady Jewelry Wedding Band.Q.Absolutely crazy, what woman gets up in the morning, puts on a diamond necklace and earrings to go walk the dog in the park? Erm, a lazy or forgetful one? I went to bed last night wearing the following jewelry: -platinum wedding band -ornate silver and garnet "southwest" style ring, oval-shaped garnet approx 3 carats (it's good for thumping rowdy cats on the head with when they decide that tonight's the night they'll catch that dratted bed mouse) . A.I wear a diamond necklace every day of my life. Not a Harry Winston or anything, just a small diamond solitaire on a platinum chain. I don't ever take it off. I wear 4 silver wire bracelets, too. they are so close to the wrist, they can't be taken off, in fact, most of them are soldered together. They were custom made to fit my wrist closely. Plus I wear a heavy silver ID bracelet that was my father's in WWII. They come off when/if they break! And no, they are not extreme, by any means, the bracelets together make up about an inch and 1/4, and in that bunch of tiny bracelets are a diamond, an emerald, and opals. For years, I wore tiny diamond stud earrings and slept in them, too. Only took them off to clean them once in a while. So, it's not at all unusual for people to be wearing jewelry to walk the dog. I do everything in my jewelry, and the reason I wear it all the time, is that I don't have time to get up and hang a bunch on me every morning. I don't wear jewelry to match my clothes or eye shadow or whatever. I wear 2 bands on my wedding finger, two silver bands on the next finger, and on the other hand, two silver bands on ring finger, and a silver pinky band ring. And they are not at all extreme or "tacky" or "old lady" looking. So, I don't know where you people live, but not only do I wear this and sleep in it, I have friends, family and coworkers who wear at least 2 or 3 pieces of jewelry they never take off -- wedding rings and necklace. However, I don't think Laci was wearing anything like that when she went into the bay, because i'm sure Scott stripped everything off of her. If my family were let into my house after I'd disappeared and saw my silver bracelets in my jewelry box, they would KNOW that something was desperately wrong, because I have worn some of them for nearly 30 years -- and only once in that time have they been off, when I had to have emergency surgery -- someone had to come cut them off of me. My jewelry is my trademark look. Laci may have had pieces she never took off, also.
