Opal Silver Ring
Q.could any of you explain to me how the quest for the pas of opal works ? or maybe you know a good website where this is explained .
A.Okay. This is what you do. You go to kerraridge, a Cat isle across from the dock where the necro hangs out in toxula forest (the city side). You go around in there to an area with huts and a stone castle like thing with Princess mitty inside. You kill mitty about 75000 times for 28 hours or so. You will get a silver, and a copper ring often. If those rings are plus 1 stat minus one stat or something keep them. What you want from her and are really camping is the RARE gold ring. You might get a BOGUS one too. If the ring has a plus or minus 1 or so stat it is the right one. If it is just a plain Gold Ring it is not and you have to keep on camping. This is why i laugh when someone is auctioning the Silver Ring for the paw of opalla. You will get TONS AND TONS of copper and silver rings before you get the gold at mitty. After doing that 28 hour or so camp (worse cause every other druid wants to camp it at the same time), you go to befallen and sit or stand right by the entrance for 8 hours or so until gynok spawns. You kill gynok. What you want from him is the Platinum ring. People have camped him for 12 hours and maybe only got a copper ring. In short , this is one of the worst hell camps/quests in the game. It is far worsened by the fact that at any given time someone else is usually camping one or the other mobs. This is one of the few items in the game that I could justify buying on ebay. The 40 -70 dollar price on there would put me money ahead of camping 40 some hours to make this paw (jobs where you only make a dollar an hour are pretty much unheard of now) OH, after you get all 4 rings is the easy part, you go to the qeynos sewers and often the point where you enter through the secret wall near around from the main gate you find a bum looking guy named something moltar. You can kill him toget the paw container, or do a quest where you get a rat ear pie and 2 kalish and give those to him. I currently have 55 baking skill and have seen people auction for a rat ear pie. I usually carry a couple around and sold one for 2 plat and one for 5. They require high skill to make in the easier way with the recipe from rephas (qey hills enchangter) the more complicated way with the pie tin and everything i don't know. It is trivial forme to make the raw uncooked pie,but i fail most of the time cooking it and it has raised my bake skill to 55 now. once you have the container you put all four rings, the gold, silver, copper and platinum (after making sure that they are the right rings, each having a plus or minus of one stat or so on them, or casting identify to reveal them as ring of opalla) you put them in the container and combine. You will now have the paw of opalla. Or as I said the faster way, do search for your server name and opalla on ebay, bid, contact that guy send him a check and have him hand you the paw in game. You now have a paw of opalla and a hell of a lot cheaper than camping it in game.
