Best torch for jewelry making ?

My wife is an avid jewelry making enthousiast and I thought for a christmas present she would like a torch she could use at home. I know...I know...it's not very romantic but she always complaining that she can't continue at home the work that she starts in her jewelry classes. So could anyone suggest a good, versatile torch that can be used for diverse metals and ideally an online shop where I could find it ? What is the best way to start out making jewelry and lapidary. What recommendations would you give, as I would like to start out just as a hobby, maybe eventually for profit. you can't add new items later. I wonder if you can put dummy entries in and then edit them.Could you explain this in a bit more detail, please?They explain part of it in their FAQ: http://www.jewelrydesignermanager.com/tech.html last section. Say you make a piece that has a particular bead and you can't get that bead anymore so you want to use another bead. You can't add it in to that piece, you have to set up a new piece. They've tied the databases together so you can't take beads...
